Bimbo Ponmile: A blessing to gospel music industry

Nigerian gospel singer Bimbo Ponmile popularity known as Abimbola Fire has continued to draw the attention of her admirers and music lovers with her music exploits.

The singer’s latest single, “You Do Me Well,” is now topping radio stations playlist.


To mark the occasion of the release of the new single, the gifted gospel singer took to Instagram to share some good news about her project.

The “Comforter” EP, which Ponmile released in 2021, was a commercial and critical success, prompting her to follow up with “You do Me Well” as her first official single of 2022.

The song was produced by Music Magnate, an award-winning beatmaker.

The’Comforter’ singer, stated that her pastor gave her the moniker when she was questioned how she came about the name “Abimbola Fire”
She also discussed how she got her start in gospel music as a backup vocalist and composer for other artistes.

Ponmile recognised that she could take control of the stage while backing up professional singers, so she pursued the aim.

Also recently, Ponmile and Adeyinka Alaseyori appeared on the 21 Days Convention Praise & Worship to sing a praise medley from the Comforter EP.
