The Bishop of Nnewi Diocese Church of Nigeria, (Anglican Communion), Rt. Reverend Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi has admonished the newly confirmed candidates and those who were inducted into Mothers’ Union and Girls’ Guildto earnestly seek the presence of the Holy Spirit as they journey in life.
The Bishop gave the admonition during his episcopal visit to Ihembosicommunity in Anambra State.

Speaking on the theme, “The Necessity Of The Holy Spirit In The Life Of A Believer,”which was taken from Acts 8:14-25, Obihighlighted five cardinal things the Holy Spirit does in a believer’s life.

According to him:“Firstly, the Holy Spirit works wonders in the life of a believer.Secondly, He takes away fear from us.Thirdly, the Holy Spirit helps a Christian to stand firm in his faith. Fourthly, the Holy Spirit helps us to witness Christ to unbelievers, and finally the Holy Spirit reveals all things to us and many more.”

Thirty sevencandidates were confirmed, four women were admitted into Mothers’ Union, while 17 girls were admitted into the Girls’ Guild.
