The Bode Roberts Endowment Fund(BBEF), has empowered and mentors a group of budding entrepreneurs from diverse sectors in Nigeria.
Established by Bode Roberts and launched on 20th July 2023, the Endowment Fund was set as a visionary initiative to ignite the potential of tomorrow’s leaders.
Over the course of six months, it has has worked with 10 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) from diverse sectors and locations in Nigeria, providing them with mentorship and free business advisory sessions tailored to their business propositions.
Led by CEO of Dataleum, Bode Roberts, the organiser said the goal of the mentorship programme was to shape African entrepreneurs and enable them to realize their dreams, while making a meaningful impact on society.
This hands-on mentorship programme was designed to address the specific challenges faced by these small businesses, with a focus on business development, scalability, and sustainable growth. In terms of monetary support, the programme offered six beneficiaries the sum of N100,000 for business capital. Other beneficiaries received N200,000 and N50,000 respectively, while the rest received support for business registration.
The conclusion of the programme marks a new beginning for the participating MSMEs, many of which have reported significant improvements in their operational efficiency, market reach, and revenue generation. “The mentorship has not only provided me with practical business strategies but has also instilled a newfound confidence and clarity in my entrepreneurial journey” Oluwasegun of LET Innovations states.
