Empowered by a grant from the US Department of Transportation and aligned with initiatives such as the United States New Investments for Repairing Bridges Across America, Oladipo addresses the pressing issues linked to aging infrastructure, particularly the decay of concrete bridges.

His innovative approach hinges on the application of additively manufactured fiber-reinforced auxetic thermoplastic polyurethane metamaterials, showcasing unprecedented confinement-strengthening properties.
