Bono Energy marks World Hypertension Day

Bono Energy has once again demonstrated its commitment and dedication to improving health outcomes for vulnerable persons in Lagos.

In a recent initiative in commemoration of the World Hypertension Day, Bono Energy has donated medical equipment, consumables and also medications to the Ibeji Lekki General Hospital for the diagnosis and treatment of thousands of persons attending the hospital.


This contribution aims to improve the access to quality healthcare for different communities in the Ibeji Lekki environs.

During the handover ceremonies; Ehimai Louis-Domeih, the Head of Human resources and administration, Bono Energy, restated their commitment to continuously impacting lives and communities as well as promoting a healthier society.

In her remarks, Medical Director, Ibeju Lekki General Hospital, Dr. Funmi Eso, expressed her gratitude to Bono Energy for the laudable gesture. She stated that the donated equipment, consumables and medications, will strengthen and boost the hospital’s capacity towards delivering extraordinary health care services and support their commitment to providing excellent medical care for patients.

She also said that the donated items will contribute considerably to their healthcare mission, leaving a lasting impression on patients’ health.
