Book on Justice Ariwoola for presentation July 11

The legal community is set to honor the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Honourable Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, with the presentation of a new book slated for Thursday, July 11, 2024.

The book is titled “Honourable Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, CJN – Through the Cases”.

Authored by Dr. Charles D. Mekwunye, SAN, and Mr. Ayo Olanrewaju, the book provides insight into the CJN’s career and judicial philosophies through a comprehensive analysis of his landmark judgments.

Both authors bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the book. Dr. Mekwunye, a seasoned legal practitioner with a notable academic background, and Ayo Olanrewaju, a prolific author and editor, have meticulously documented Justice Ariwoola’s career.

The foreword of the book, penned by Honourable Justice Kudirat Motonmori Kekere-Ekun, CFR, highlights Justice Ariwoola’s commitment to justice, intellectual depth, and impeccable manners.

She praised his ability to maintain integrity and fairness in his rulings, drawing comparisons to legendary jurists like Lord Denning and Lord Viscount Simonds.
