A train travelling from Kaduna State to Abuja, the nation’s capital, has reportedly derailed at Jere, Kaduna State.
The train, which carried dozens of passengers, departed Kaduna around 8:05 a.m. but derailed at Jere about an hour later, Daily Trust reported.
Security operatives, including members of the Nigeria Police and Army, are on the ground to offer support, as approximately three carriages went off the tracks.
