Britney Spears Slapped by Security Guard

Pop star Britney Spears is alleging that she was slapped in the face by a security guard for San Antonio Spurs player Victor Wembanyama after she tried to approach him for a photo.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night at a restaurant in Las Vegas. Spears said that she saw Wembanyama at the restaurant and wanted to congratulate him on his success. She said that she tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention, but that his security guard then “backhanded me in the face without looking back, in front of a crowd.”

Wembanyama has since denied Spears’ allegations, saying that he never saw her face and that he thought she was just someone trying to grab him from behind.

Spears’ security team has filed a police report against the security guard, who has been identified as Damian Smith. The Metro PD is said to have interviewed Spears on Thursday morning with the case “likely” to be sent to the District Attorney for review.

Spears has not commented further on the incident, but she did post a statement on her Instagram stories in which she said that she was “not prepared for what happened to me last night.” She also said that she has had “traumatic experiences” in the past and that she was “super embarrassed” to have to share this story with the world.

The incident has sparked a debate on social media, with some people supporting Spears and others defending the security guard. Some people have also questioned why Spears was not allowed to approach Wembanyama for a photo.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
