Bukka Hut reopens restaurant outlet in Circle Mall two years after mass vandalism

Bukka Hut Restaurant, a popular Quick Service Restaurant brand known for its Nigerian dishes, has reopened its outlet in Circle Mall, Jakande, Lagos. This is coming two years after the outlet, which had been operational since December 2018, was shut down due to mass looting and arson that occurred in the mall on 22 October 2020 as part of the fall out of the END SARS protests.

Speaking at the grand reopening event, the Head of Operations, Mrs Victoria Oboh, expressed her gratitude to customers and residents of the Jakande area for their support over the years. She reiterated that the reopening of the outlet is part of the company’s goals to provide quality Nigerian meals and seamless delivery services to its customers.

Mrs Oboh also stated that the company had to prioritize the safety of its staff, customers, and the community in general in 2020, which led to the closure of the Circle Mall outlet. However, she expressed her excitement at the outlet’s return, which is creating more job opportunities and bringing the company closer to its customers within the area.

The grand reopening ceremony was graced by the presence of the Bale of Igbara kingdom; Chief Olaiwola Ahmed Balogun, Pastor Bowale Ikotun and Chief Imam Adams who extended their goodwill and prayed for the success of the event and the rapid growth of the Circle Mall outlet and the company.

Bukka Hut has been in operation since 2011 and currently has 16 restaurant outlets, 4 lounges, 5 suya and grill spots, a learning facility, and a snacks brand, Hut Chops, all located within Lagos State.
