Chief Executive Officer of Bullion Records, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has extended warm birthday felicitations to hip-hop sensation, GYC.

GYC, whose birth name is Fortune Kingsley, marked his birthday on January 24, and Ajadi, an entertainment enthusiast and music promoter, recognising the pivotal role a good records label could play in an artist’s success, said Bullion Records is actively pursuing a contract with GYC.

Ajadi expressed optimism that a deal would be reached soon so that GYC’s talent could be maximised in the overall interest of the entertainment sector.

“It is his birthday today and I cannot but wish him the best that he deserves,” he said. “Part of that best, to me, is aligning with organisations with track record and commitment of helping him realise his career ambitions to the fullest.”

Ajadi recalled how GYC, earlier in his career, specifically achieved a remarkable feat of winning the FME Singer and Producer of the Year consecutively in 2013 and 2014, adding that there were more laurels for the entertainer to cart home.

Renowned for his songwriting prowess, GYC has collaborated with an array of A-list musicians, earning him acclaim within the industry.

His stellar performances on major international platforms have helped to lift his status as a performer of significance in the Nigerian music scene.

In addition, GYC has shared the stage with industry heavyweights like Wizkid, Flavour, Phyno, Kizz Daniel, 2Baba, and Davido.

He also organises an annual carnival in Ikeja, the capital of Lagos, and it is believed partnering with Bullion Records would help to further lift the carnival.
