NCAA lifts suspension on XEjet operations
The Management of XEjet Airline has announced that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has lifted the suspension placed on its operation due to insurance issues with one of the aircraft in its service.
In a letter to the airline, signed by the Director General of NCAA, Capt. Musa Nuhu titled: Lifting of suspension on your Air Transport Licence (ATL) and Air Operators Certificate (AOC), the authority affirmed lifting the suspension after considering the airline’s submissions.
“Consequently, you have been cleared to exercise the privilege of your ATL and AOC,” the letter read in part.The Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer of the airline, Mr Emmanuel Iza, noted that the suspension was within the regulatory framework.
Iza said: “We are happy to be back, and we will continue to deepen our safety consciousness.
“We sincerely thank you all (customers) for your patience, unwavering support, understanding and cooperation. We look forward to continuing delivering our premium services to you. Your safety and security is always of utmost importance to us.”
