Enterprise-innovationWITH a desire to improve businesses in Africa, Ideation Hub Africa, with its ‘Development Dialogue’ has charged businesses and organizations’ on the need to focus on creating value and truly solve the continent’s toughest problems.

According to the convener, Debola Deji-Kurunmi, the Development Dialogue, which was held yesterday, in Lagos, was one of Ideation Hub Africa’s flagship programs with this year’s theme as “Spurring Africa’s Development by Social Innovation and Leadership”, which focused on the vital role of the third sector in Africa to drive significant development in the continent across diverse impact areas including education, healthcare, environment, food and agriculture, economic empowerment, among others.

Deji-Kurunmi said the forum drew strong linkages between principled leadership and social prosperity as well as economic development.

“The Dialogue provides an interesting opportunity for practitioners to share perspectives on social innovation, connect contemporaries and leaders in the development sector, lend their voice to pressing social issues, as well as deepen understanding of the sustainable development goals within local frameworks”, she stated.

She explained that the firm provides training and executive education, collaborative platforms, research and enterprise advice, stressing that Africa’s greatest asset is its great talent, “that’s why we work hard to equip people and organisations.”
