Nigeria Energy 2025 to drive investment, innovation, partnerships in power sector

The 12th edition of the Nigeria Energy Exhibition and Conference, West Africa’s leading energy event, will commence from October 28 to 30, 2025, at the Landmark Centre, with stakeholders expected to explore pathways toward a more sustainable and investment-driven power sector.

Organised by Informa Markets with the endorsement of the Federal Ministry of Power, this year’s edition, themed “Powering Nigeria through Investment, Innovation and Partnership” is set to convene over 8,500 energy professionals, decision-makers, regulators, financiers, and innovators across the electricity value chain.

At a press briefing in Lagos yesterday, organisers unveiled an expanded agenda focused on unlocking the capital, policy reforms, and technologies required to strengthen Nigeria’s energy landscape. The conference will feature three days of high-level summits, technical sessions, and interactive exhibitions designed to address the country’s persistent energy challenges and foster collaboration.

Speaking during the media briefing, Exhibition Manager, Energy Portfolio – MEA, Informa Markets, Ade Yesufu, said the theme reflects the urgency of reform and investment across Nigeria’s energy sector.

“The theme reflects the urgent need to address infrastructure gaps, mobilise investment, and accelerate reforms. Nigeria Energy 2025 will provide a platform where stakeholders can align on policies, forge new partnerships, and showcase innovations that can drive the sector forward,” Yesufu said.

Among the expected speakers are Special Adviser to the President on Power Infrastructure, Sadiq Wanka; Lagos State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Biodun Ogunleye; CEO, Azura Power, Edu Okeke; Vice Chair, Board of Directors, African Energy Council, Dr ChinnanDikwal; and CEO, Egbin Power Plc, Mokhtar Bounour.
