Promasidor rewards long serving staffs

Promasidor Nigeria Limited recently at a colourful ceremony rewarded employees who had served the company in the last 10, 15 and 20years.

Speaking during the event tagged, Long Service Award Ceremony, Managing Director, Promasidor Nigeria Limited, Olivier Thiry, said the occasion is to honour its workers that had stayed with the organisation despite the challenges.

Thiry stated that the reward to the affected employees was just a token from the management to dedicated and committed employees who strive to place the company ahead of competitors in the market.

His words: “This is just a gesture to reciprocate your support for the organisation over the years. Without your invaluable commitment, there would not be Promasidor. The management considers today as a memorable day in the life of all the affected employees and in our corporate life”.

“I will love to thank you all because I know what long service is. I thank you for your hardwork, your dedication, your commitment, patience and trust in this company. I look forward to working with you in the right director as we have worked over the years,” he told the staff.

Lovejoy Onuchukwu, a Human Resource Officer and one of the awardees, who has worked with the company in the last 10years, said her experience with the company has been one that is full of challenges and opportunities, as it has moulded her into becoming what she is today.

According to her, she joined company as a teenager and she has learnt a lot through training and retraining programme commissioned or endorsed by her organisation. Johnson Babatunde has worked in Promasidor for 15years, though now in the Osogbo outlet said the experience for him has been nice, as it has exposed him to a lot of challenges and built his capacity.

Through this company, he said he went to South Africa for training. “I have worked in so many depots from Benin to Ibadan, Ondo and now I am in Osogbo. That for me, makes the job interesting, as I meet new challenges that builds me up,” he added. Joboy Christmas Peter, Manager Sales, Corporate Sales, National, has served for 20years. He thanked the organisation for the honour.
