Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp Group) has posted a revenue of N279.7 billion in its six-month operations, against N175.4 billion achieved in the corresponding period in 2024.
The company’s unaudited results for the period ended June 30, 2025, showed an increase in revenue from N175.4 billion recorded in 2024 to N279.5 billion in 2025, while profit before tax stood at N85.7 billion, higher than N70.9 billion posted in the previous year.
According to the company, the revenue percentage is 59 per cent, while profit grew by 21 per cent.
Based on the improved performance, the directors of the company have declared an interim dividend of N4.064 billion, culminating in 40 kobo per ordinary share, subject to applicable withholding tax.
Speaking on the performance, the Chairman of the company, Tony Elumelu, described the group’s performance as a testament to its mission of making impact-driven, value-creating investments across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
He noted that Transcorp Power and Transafam Power are steadily driving innovation in the power sector, helping to improve lives and transform the country.
Elumelu pointed out that the company is not only redefining service delivery in hospitality but also raising industry standards, especially with the launch of the new Transcorp Centre in Abuja, which he described as Nigeria’s premier events venue.
Elumelu emphasised that the group’s continued growth underscores the strength and resilience of its diversified business model.
He also reaffirmed Transcorp’s commitment to its long-term strategic vision, assuring stakeholders of sustained value creation, enhanced shareholder returns, and a deepening contribution to Nigeria’s economic transformation.
Also speaking, President/Group Chief Executive Officer, Owen Omogiafo, said the company’s second-quarter 2025 performance highlights its operational discipline and the robustness of its corporate strategy.
She explained that Transcorp’s ability to adapt to evolving market conditions has strengthened its position, allowing it to navigate challenges and deliver consistent value.
According to her, the successful completion of the 5,000-seat Transcorp centre in Abuja marks a significant milestone in the group’s growth plan, further establishing Nigeria as a destination for world-class conferences and events, as evidenced by the hosting of the AFREXIM Annual Meetings 2025.
She added that the company remains focused on accelerating growth and consolidating its leadership in the power, hospitality, and energy sectors.
