Transcorp’s Q3 revenue up by 39%

Transcorp Group Plc has reported impressive financial performance for the third quarter of 2025, with revenue jumping 39 per cent year-on-year. The company’s unaudited results released yesterday showed that revenue rose from N297.7 billion in Q3 2024 to N413.4 billion in the corresponding period of 2025, driven by increased power generation capacity and expansion in its hospitality business.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) grew by 18 per cent to N124.5 billion, compared to N105.5 billion recorded in the same period last year, while Profit After Tax increased by 20.5 per cent, reaching N91.4 billion, up from N75.9 billion in 2024.

The conglomerate maintained a gross profit margin of 48 per cent, reflecting disciplined cost management and strategic pricing across its business units.

Speaking on the results, the Chairman of Transnational Corporation Plc, Tony Elumelu, said the robust revenue and earnings delivery demonstrate the opportunity in the Nigerian economy.

“Our diversified portfolio continues to offer investors access to key drivers of Nigeria’s growth opportunity. As the macro-economic climate improves, the Group is well-positioned to take advantage of Nigeria’s extraordinary potential,” Elumelu said.

He noted that the company is executing its impact-driven mandate through strategic investments that solidify its leadership in Nigeria’s vital sectors, adding that the diversified model continues to demonstrate resilience and generate significant value.

In power generation and distribution, Elumelu said the company is closing the energy deficit in Nigeria, propelling national development through increased power generation capacity at all its plants.

The President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Plc, Dr Owen Omogiafo, described the Q3 2025 results as a demonstration of successful execution of the company’s strategic direction, operational excellence and portfolio-wide efficiency.

“Driven by our core purpose to ‘Improve Lives and Transform Africa’, we continue to optimise our businesses to deliver superior stakeholder value,” Omogiafo said.
