The Club Cricket Committee (CCC) has urged corporate bodies and governments at all levels to identify with cricket and ensure the country is recognised as the best in the sport in Africa.
Speaking on plans to raise the standard of the sport in Lagos at the weekend, gambling CCC Chairman, Akin Denton, noted that the committee is working with stakeholders to budget for the forthcoming Super Four Championship.
Denton said the participants in the Super Four would include a knockout winner as well as a winner from the CCC League, which conclusion would be determined by the rain.
He revealed that the teams have already played 100 games, with each team playing 16 matches, banker bet of the day adding that the reverse fixtures would be held on Saturdays and Sundays to meet with the schedule.
