CDS promises to end insecurity, harps on reward system

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Maj.-Gen. Christopher Musa, yesterday, reiterated the commitment of the military to tackle lingering insecurity across the nation.

He said military authorities are planning to build the capacity of officers by putting in place a reward system that promotes efficient service delivery.


Musa said this in Ibadan during a lecture and book presentation in celebration of this year’s Army Day celebration.

He, however, charged the military to protect the rights of officers when in and out of service to enhance more commitment to duty.

Meanwhile, panellists at the event, urged officers to draw strength from numerous challenges confronting the nation.
