Governments at all levels have been urged to invest more in the empowerment of youths for the growth and development of the country.

The Planter of Christ Apostolic Church(CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu Alo who gave the advice described young people as the strength and power of any nation.

Stressing the importance of youth in society, the cleric said wars, strife, and criminalities would always characterized such societies where the youths are not treasured and given priority attention to succeed.

He also called on Nigerians to continue to support and intensify prayers for the government of President Tinubu.

Prophet Olu Alo stated these while speaking with journalists at the end of the annual programme of the ministry tagged: ‘One Day, One Night’ held in Adamimogo prayer city, Lekki, Lagos.

The man of God said, “Because, the population of young people are most highest in most of our communities now and that is the area where the government should focus on to develop.

“Most developed countries are doing their best to invest on the development and empowerment of their youths. They give training on trades, vocations and other entrepreneurship skills as well as giving them quality education.

“There is a country where a child must have formal education if he or she cannot acquire one skill or the order. It is compulsory that a child choose one out of the two. So today, it is something that we can also do as a nation to help ourselves.

“We need to be calling on our youths unto the way and fear of God. If they have the fear of God in their hearts, they will be thing of having something reasonable to do with their life’s either by learning a trade or go to school.

“Youths are the ones who always come out to vote during elections over the world, because they have larger population than the aged both male and female. One major avenue of reaching out to them is to let them know God and this will help them succeed in life”.

While speaking at a crusade organized at National Stadium, Surulere Lagos by the Celestial Church of Christ, Zion Parish, Lekki Phase 1, Itedo Lagos, he said, “No young person will hear about the life story of people like me and will not think deeply on what to do to change his or her life for better.”

The renowned prophet who posited that the nation belongs to the youths said any country where their young people are not making progress and succeeding will be in pains.

“If you look at the developed nations, it is the youths that are bringing innovations and transforming the world today. Even though most of the countries across the globe have elderly people as their leaders but the youths are the ones doing most powerful and the impactful things worlds over. Like the owner of the renowned social media platform X, Elon Musk, he is a youth.

“People that are doing great things and establishing industries, majority of them are young people. and It is the youth that can easily change the heart of a fellow youth.

“Also, where our country Nigeria is today, it is the youths that are mostly perpetrating evil. They are the one engaging in all sorts of criminal acts in the society but if they are prayed for and hear the word of God, then there will be peace in our land. It is very rare to find an elderly person of say 70 or 80 years that will say he will like to join an armed robbery gang.”

Speaking on the state of the nation, he said there will be many more revelations within the government cycle in Nigeria.

“Concerning all that were said earlier in the prophesy for the year, We haven’t seen anything yet, because God has started His work, by opening the eyes of President Bola Tinubu to those areas where the country and its people is experiencing pains and sufferings.

“God told me through the help of the holy spirit, that , there some people in his government who do not align with the president good intentions. Though they had the grace but they failing to live up to what is expected of them and office they are they don’t know how to handle it. If God should open his eyes , then he will know most of them does not really fit into positions they are occupying and the right persons will be engaged to do the job and relief will come.

“He has a vision. But if the wrong people mix with the right vision it will look as if the person has no vision. So God should further open his insight to engage right people in position for this country to have rest and peace .

“People who can change and transform Nigeria who scholars and technocrats abound in this country but they don’t have grace and opportunity to assume such high position. The ones you have happening among our youths, take us to the fact that , some people did it before, but where are they now?

He counselled the presidency and those in the helms of the affairs of this country to set up a committee comprising those that had held positions and recorded success irrespective of their political leaning should be consulted for advice on how such situations should be handled.

“That is what they call love which our country needs now to make it progress. It is then the right person will be in the government of this country.

“There should be no religious, culture, or factional sentiment in the selection of those that will do the work and this country will be better for it. Because our problem in this country is that, most people who do not know how to do things effectively and rightly are unfortunately finding their ways to the position of authority and it is negatively affecting governance in the country and the people.”
