Corporate bodies, individuals to support DOAMF 13th charity golf tourney

As the thirteenth edition of the Daniel Ogechi Akujobi Memorial Foundation Charity Golf Tournament draws close, organisers of the event disclosed that notable corporate bodies and charitable individuals have confirmed their support for the event.

The event, famed for its exceptionally high standards, is scheduled to hold on February 24, 2024, at the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938, Ikoyi Lagos.

DOAM Foundation in a statement, listed some of the corporate bodies supporting the charity golf event to include: ARM Pension, Sparkle, Cappa & D’Alberto, Radial Circle Group, Access Bank, Guinness, Chikki Foods Industries, Vacation Places, 7-Up Bottling Company, Globus Bank, SPAR Mixta Nigeria, Ikoyi Club 1938, and many more.

This is as no fewer than 150 players have secured spots in the final round following the qualifying event on February 3, 2024. They will be joined by guest players.

The Foundation’s Media Lead, Ruth Nwachukwu, said the different levels of support offered by corporate sponsors and kind individuals will enable the foundation to provide education and healthcare to less privileged children and youth in our society.

Since its inception, the foundation has touched over 93,000 lives through the various life-improvement programmes that it has executed for the less privileged. This has been made possible by funds raised from the annual golf event.

The final of the tournament will be rounded off with a cocktail event in the evening, which will also feature prize presentations to winners and another opportunity to interact with its partners and donors.
