Lila is an 18-year-old girl living in poverty in Africa. She works in prostitution to make money, but two men named Chiumbo and Gathee take advantage of her. Chiumbo exploits her without any remorse, while Gathee feels guilty but is too scared to stand up to Chiumbo. When Gathee finally tries to help Lila, it’s too late, and she is killed accidentally by Chiumbo when Gathee tries to save her from his brutality. The film about Lila’s story has won many awards, mostly in Los Angeles, and it was also nominated for Best Nigerian Short Film at the Abuja International Film Festival and the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.
