Daylight Group, CallMeNgLabelle Kontents partner on socially relevant film, ‘Voltage


In a move set to captivate audience nationwide, Daylight Group has partnered with CallMeNgLabelle Kontents Ltd. to produce ‘Voltage’, a groundbreaking film tackling a critical issue affecting Nigeria and Africa as a whole.


The movie bothers around Tega (played by Olumide Oworo) a young man burdened by his ailing mother’s wishes to join the corrupt family business, takes on a new role exposing the deep-rooted corruption plaguing Nigeria’s power sector.

Following a tragic event in his neighbourhood, Tega uncovers a web of deceit within his own family, leading him to fight against powerful figures who control the entire energy sector. He enlists his friends, only to be targeted by a ruthless oil cartel.

With his life and the lives of his friends hanging in the balance, Tega must find an unlikely ally to expose the truth and bring down this cartel against the odds.


The movie delves into a prevalent concern with a satirical lens, exploring its impact on individuals, families, and the national economy. Voltage promises to resonate deeply with Nigerian and African audiences, sparking important conversations.

A stellar cast and crew bring ‘Voltage’ to life. The film produced by Ngozi Ogbonna Nglabelle, is directed by Fred Amata. Voltage stars include Segun Arinze, Kate Hensaw, Olumide Oworo,
