Doja Cat’s Mother Files Restraining Order Against Son For Abuse

Disturbing accusations have surfaced after Doja Cat’s mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed for a temporary restraining order against the rapper’s brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, alleging years of physical and verbal abuse. The documents, obtained by TMZ, paint a concerning picture of ongoing family turmoil.

According to the filing, Sawyer claims Dlamini, 30, physically attacked her on multiple occasions, with one incident resulting in Doja, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, losing teeth. Sawyer further alleges that Dlamini inflicted cuts and bruises on Doja and subjected her to verbally abusive comments, leaving her feeling “unsafe and traumatized.” Additionally, Sawyer claims Dlamini destroyed and stole some of the rapper’s property.

However, the judge only partially granted Sawyer’s request. While she received court-ordered protection from Dlamini pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order, the judge denied similar protection for Doja. According to reports, the judge explained that Doja must file her own petition for a restraining order against her brother.
