The Executive Vice President, Chinese Central Party School also known as the National Academy of Governance, Professor Xie Chuntao, has attributed the achievements made by the Communist Party of China (CPC) to the training received by party officials from the academy.

Speaking yesterday during the visit of foreign journalists to the school, Chuntao stated that the academy trained over 5000 officials of the CPC in 2023 as well as 1.3 million on-line students from other countries of the world.

Describing the school as a training ground for government officials, he said the academy which was established in 1994 was dedicated to training senior and middle-level civil servants as well as administrators and policy experts.

“It delivers scientific research, notably studies pertaining to theories of public administration and other subjects, as well as consultation on decision-making to the CPC Central Committee.”

The school, which occupies large hectares of land in the central Beijing, is a home to nature as it is surrounded by a body of water that nurture aquatic animals as well as tall trees and beautiful flowers that keep the environment serene.

The entire atmosphere at the National Academy of Science bear witness to the ecological consciousness of the government and people of China amidst technological advancement.

According to Professor Chuntao, trainings received from the academy serve as guide to party members on the ideological framework of the party and build the consciousness of the people towards self-development.

Chuntao alleged that Western philosophy was harmful for the people, describing autocratic and that which does not benefit the common people, “and this is not the democracy that China want”, he added.

He also refuted the alleged narrative from the West that some countries were barbaric, stressing that China only desired to have its own say.

“We need to have our own philosophy, social values, and our voice needs to be heard. We propose our observations for our own development. Opinions and observations can be used for future policies and development.”

Chuntao disclosed that several countries’ delegations have visited the Academy and he urged them to replicate party academy in their respective countries as it will help in effective governance and political stability, noting that the achievements made by his party can be attributed to the knowledge acquired from the school.

“If a country has strength in its system, it will develop fast.” He went further to list the 13 strength of the country one of which is unified system. He said that the unified system of CPC contributed to its ability to hold power for 75 years.

“We have governed for 75 years and have made improvements. We are the only party that has governed a country for 75 years. Eight other parties in China are under the leadership of CPC. This is unique and can rarely be seen elsewhere in the world.
