Dubai-based Nigerian artist, Akpojivi Joel Onoriode better known as “Daddy K”, is redefining luxury art with his innovative creations. He incorporates high-end accessories such as designer clothes, bags, shoes, VVS diamonds, and 24-karat gold into his paintings, which are priced between $5,000 and $200,000. Each piece tells a unique story and features scannable barcodes for more information.
Over the years, Daddy K has sold numerous pieces to art collectors and millionaires in Dubai, the Middle East and around the world, with each painting accompanied by a Black Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring its exclusivity. Additionally, buyers receive a customized designer gift, such as items from Gucci, Fendi, Dior, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, and Hublot, enhancing the luxury experience. Daddy exhibited some of his works last year at World Art Dubai, held from March 9 to 12, 2023, at the World Trade Center in Dubai.
When asked about his success, Daddy K shared that he began painting at the age of four. Seeking to distinguish himself from other artists, he developed a unique style that adds significant value to his brand. This approach has led to impressive sales, with $275,000 worth of paintings sold in just three months.
