The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has released the results of its recently concluded Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercises, allowing candidates to view their scores through their personal UNIBEN portal accounts.
Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, UNIBEN’s Public Relations Officer, confirmed the release in a statement on Tuesday, emphasising that candidates should disregard any “NOT ADMITTED” status currently appearing on their result slips.
She explained that the official admission process has commenced and will continue until October 31, in alignment with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) timetable.
“All candidates who scored 50 per cent and above in the screening are eligible for consideration, subject to the recommended admission guidelines,” Dr. Ehanire said.
She added that further information regarding the next steps in the admission process would be provided in due course, advising candidates to monitor official channels for updates.
The release marks the beginning of the formal admissions cycle at UNIBEN, providing students with an opportunity to secure placements in various undergraduate programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.
