Eid-el-fitri: Katsina Governor-Elect Radda promise to tackle insecurity

Katsina Governor-Elect, Dr Dikko Radda has reiterated his resolve to tackle the spate of banditry and insecurity in the state.


In a message marking the Eid el-Fitr Sallah celebration, he thanked the people of Katsina State for giving him the mandate to administer the State.

“This is a trust and Insha Allah, I and my team will not fail you. We shall by the Grace of God tackle the challenge of insecurity and work very hard to provide the much-needed dividends of democracy to the people of Katsina State,” he said.

Felicitating with the people of Katsina State and Nigerians, on the successful completion of the Ramadan Fast, he urged the citizenry in the state to eschew acts that could breach the peace in the state.


He added: “Having gone through the fasting period in devotion, obedience, charity, perseverance and respect for others, | urge you all to replicate these traits as a lifetime habit that should outlive the limited period which the Ramadan fast was observed.

“Let us all continue to live In peace and harmony with one another and pray for a smooth transition to a new government on May 29 2023. Permit me to use this opportunity to commend Non-Muslims who became their brother’s keeper by feeding the less privileged Muslims in many parts of the country during the Ramadan period.”
