Eid-el-Kabir: Soludo, Igbo leader felicitate with Muslims

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has felicitated with the Muslim ummah in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, which highlights enduring faith, obedience and devotion to Almighty Allah.

In his goodwill message issued by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, yesterday, Soludo noted: “This sacred event is a time for all of us to reflect on these universal values that bind humanity together.”

He reiterated his administration’s steadfast dedication to fostering an environment of religious harmony, mutual respect, and peaceful co-existence among all faiths in the state.

The governor also recognised the valuable contributions of the Muslim community to the state’s peaceful development and the enriching diversity they bring to its collective social fabric. Soludo, therefore, called on the Muslim faithful to continue their support and prayers for the state government and Nigeria to advance the collective progress, security and well-being of every citizen.

Similarly, an Igbo chieftain and traditional leader of the non-indigenes’ group in Anambra State under the aegis of the Association of Non-indigenes in Anambra State (ANIAS), Igwe Amos Nkwuda, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Muslims across the federation, calling on them to exhibit true spirit of love and peace as they mark this year’s Sallah.
