Elizade varsity warns students against immorality, matriculates 526

Elizade
Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, has warned students of the institution against any act of indiscipline, especially sexual immorality and gangsterism.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olukayode Amund, stated this, at the weekend, during the matriculation of 526 students admitted into the five faculties of the institution for the 2021/2022 academic session.

He also said the university would not harbour pregnant students within the campus, as it had no facility to attend to expectant mothers.

“The university hostels have no care facilities for expectant mothers and would not harbour pregnant students on campus. To be forewarned is to be fore-armed.

“The students’ handbook is currently under review to spell out the rules of engagement on campus, the violation of which shall attract appropriate sanctions,” he stated at the 10th matriculation.

Emphasising that the new intakes were the highest since the establishment of the institution in 2012, he said the university abhors any form of social vices among its students.
