Embracing his will: Key to life in the supernatural – Part 2

Lawrence Achudume

He was at arms-length. Peter made history and it is on record that he walked on water. You are the next to do the impossible. Jesus held his hands and they both walked back into the boat. “And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, of a truth thou art the Son of God,” Matthew 14:32-33.

They met others in the ship. Those in the ship came to meet Jesus and Peter; he became a marvel — a hero. You can be that too!
To me, the importance of Jesus walking on water was to show us an example on how to live in the supernatural, above man-made things, this is not ordinary and not all will dare. There were 12 disciples in that boat, but only Peter walked out of the boat into the water and walked back with Jesus.

We must understand that we can always step out of the natural into the supernatural depending on the season and time. The Bible says the wind was boisterous and the boat was about to sink. God made the sea and can control it. He made you and can control you. Let Him lead you and you will be a marvel.

“But I am afraid of falling.” You will only sink when you are far from Him. Peter was beginning to sink, but was close enough to be lifted by Jesus into His safe hands and to the safety of the boat.
• Learn to walk with God. “And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah 300 years, and begat sons and daughters,” (Genesis 5:22).
• Walk after God — “Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him,” (Deuteronomy 13:4).
• Walk before God — “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect,” (Genesis 17:1).
• Walk in God — “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him,” (Colossians 2:6).
• Let God know you — “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him,” (Genesis 18:19).
• Take the right decision, trust God — “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death,” (Proverbs 14:12).
• Know His will — “Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is,” (Ephesians 5:17). “This charge I commit unto thee, son

Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightestwar a good warfare,” (1Timothy 1:18).
Then you will rule your world and become a marvel as His words will be fulfilled in your life. Attempt and dare the impossible, decide to be the first and you will not fail.
