The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) commenced its Computer-Based Aptitude Test for recruitment today, drawing 45,689 applicants to various centres across the country.
NNPC Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Mele Kyari, who visited one of the centres at the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society Centenary Resource Centre in Maitama, Abuja, assured stakeholders that the recruitment process is designed to select only the most qualified candidates.
Speaking during the visit, Kyari emphasised NNPC’s role as an equal opportunity employer, highlighting the special provisions made for applicants with disabilities.
“At NNPC Ltd., we believe in creating opportunities for everyone, including persons with disabilities. This recruitment process is not only transparent but also inclusive, ensuring that no applicant is left at a disadvantage,” he said.
The aptitude test is a critical phase in NNPC’s recruitment strategy, where applicants are evaluated for roles in the energy company’s expansive operations.
Applicants from diverse educational and professional backgrounds are competing for limited positions in what has been described as one of the most competitive recruitment exercises in recent years.
