Enugu West commends Ugwuanyi, endorses Mbah, others

As gov prays for Ekweremadu over UK ordeal

The people of Enugu West Senatorial District, under the auspices of Enugu West United for Peter Mbah/Ifeanyi Ossai,’ yesterday, held an endorsement rally for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, and his running mate, Ifeanyi Ossai, as well as other PDP candidates, commending Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for standing firm in his belief in equity, justice and fairness, as well as the zoning arrangement of the governorship seat of the state.

At the rally, which witnessed the reception of huge number of members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu West Senatorial District, led by former Acting Chairman of APC in the state and former deputy governorship candidate of APC in 2019, Prince Gilbert Chukwu, who defected to the PDP, Ugwuanyi, through the State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Amb. Emmanuel Edeh, prayed for Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his family over their ordeals in the United Kingdom. 
  
Traditional rulers from the district disclosed that they came to the rally to thank Ugwuanyi for being a God fearing leader, who has conscience and believes in the principles of equity, justice and fairness. 

Igwe Godwin Madu of Mbogu Kingdom applauded the governor for standing on established rotational arrangement of governorship position in the state, and for choosing Mbah to be his successor.
