Nigerian football talents dreaming of a career in Europe may now have their chance, as the second edition of the Sporting24/Quadrans Scouting Tournament has attracted top scouts from France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Belgium.

Gabriel Imadonmwinyi, the Sporting Director at Sporting24 FA, which organises the scouting programme, addressed the media, stating:

“Following the successes recorded in the first edition in February, with the number of exciting young talents identified, came the plan to organise the second edition. As Nigerians living in fast-growing suburbs, football is almost impossible to ignore as there are a lot of talents waiting to be tapped. At Sporting24 FA, we are committed to identifying talent through our organised scouting networks.

“We are thrilled about the potential of the players that have been scouted so far. They possess the requisite ability and talent, and we are excited to see how they develop in their respective careers.”

The Sporting24 Football Academy and Quadrans Football Management Scouting Tournament received a significant boost with the arrival of football scouts from France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Belgium.

“Our goal is to create opportunities for aspiring footballers to showcase their talents and fulfil their potentials. We are confident that this scouting programme will be a resounding success and yield the expected results, as several talents are expected to kick-start their pro careers from this scouting programme.”

The partnership between Sporting24 Football Academy and Quadrans Football Management demonstrates a commitment to creating career opportunities for talented young players from Nigeria to start and pursue their professional careers in Europe.

The tournament aims to provide these players with a platform to display their skills and attract the attention of top scouts from renowned footballing nations. This initiative not only highlights the abundant football talent in Nigeria but also bridges the gap between local players and European football opportunities.

As the scouting tournament progresses, hopes are high that many young Nigerian footballers will seize this opportunity to embark on successful professional careers in Europe. The continued collaboration between Sporting24 Football Academy and Quadrans Football Management is expected to pave the way for more such opportunities in the future, further solidifying Nigeria’s reputation as a breeding ground for football talent.
