Ex-MWUN president lauds union on impact in maritime

Anthony Nted Emmanuel

Immediate past President General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Anthony Nted, has commended the current leadership of the union, led by Adewale Adeyanju, on the achievements recorded so far within the union and the entire maritime sector.

Nted said this when the National Administrative Council (NAC) of the union, led by Adeyanju, paid a courtesy visit to him in his Festac home in Lagos.

The former MWUN chief commended that Adeyanju immediately keyed into his principles and philosophy of leadership, carrying out in totality his dynamic footprints of leadership.

He said this was evident in the huge successes and achievements recorded so far within the union and the entire maritime sector.

Nted admonished the executives of the union to genuinely support and co-operate with Adeyanju, especially as his tenure is rounding up and prayed that God would guide him and give him the divine wisdom to leave for the union a better successor.

Adeyanju, in his response, recalled the good works Nted accomplished while he served the union, remembering his digital union legacy.
