Eze Igbo Ghana congratulates Cosmas Maduba, other commissioners on appointments

The Igbo diasporan King in the Republic of Ghana, His Royal Majesty, Eze Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Ezeohazurume, Global Peace Ambassador), has congratulated newly inaugurated commissioners and members of the Imo State Executive Cabinet from Isu Nation on their appointments and swearing-in, describing it as well deserved given their impressive records in private and public service.


In a statement made available by his Director on Media Strategy and Communications, Njoku Macdonald Obinna, the Umuduruoha- Amaigbo, Nwangele-born royal father, Eze Ihenetu, commended the Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, on the choice of the commissioners, which he described as a mixed breed of the young, middle- aged, and experienced hands.

His words: “I am most elated to felicitate my brothers from Isu Council and Nwangele Council respectively, on your well deserved appointments and inauguration into the Imo State Executive Council led by Governor Hope Uzodimma, and I pray for God’s direction, wisdom and strength as you assume office to serve the good people of Imo State through this public trust.”

The monarch also extended his best wishes to the Imo Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chief Cosmas Maduba, Dr. Chimezie Amadi, Commissioner for Digital Economy and E- Government, Dr. Prosper Obinna Ohayagha, Commissioner for Health and Social Science, Barr. Emeka Mgbedum, Commissioner for Petroleum, and Modestus Osakwe, Commissioner for Homeland Security.


Ezeigbo Ghana, therefore, called on the commissioners to use their exalted positions to implement Uzodimma’s Renewed Hope Agenda as encapsulated in his 3R Shared Prosperity Administration.

Eze Ihenetu said that ndi Imo deserve more development in all facets of life and urged the commissioners to do everything within their powers to prove the governor right on their choice of appointments.

He particularly felicitated the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chief Cosmas Maduba, on his reappointment and called on him to use his wealth of experience to revamp the agricultural sector in the state.
