The Paramount king of Ndigbo in Ghana, HRM Eze Chukwudi Ihenetu, has felicitated with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he celebrates his 72nd birthday on March 29, 2024.

In a statement issued from his Obi-Ukwu Obieziokwu palace in Ghana, the royal father commended the President for yielding to the mood of the nation by cancelling elaborate birthday bash.
The President, through his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, had urged Nigerians to use his birthday to reach out to the needy by donating to charity instead of posting costly advertorials on print and electronic media.

While describing Tinubu as a great statesman with a vision to liberate Nigeria from the shackle of bad governance, the Umuduruoha Amigbo Nwagele Imo state-born monarch said some of his policies are beginning to yield positive results.

On the state of the nation under the watch of President Tinubu, Ihenetu, a Global Peace Ambassador, hailed the rescue of students kidnapped in Kaduna and Sokoto states and re-uniting them with their parents.

“I view this as a deserving birthday gift to the President and urge him to continue on this path until peace and security are returned to our beloved country, Nigeria.

“In the same vein, I also commended Tinubu for personally attending the burial of the 17 officers and soldiers killed in Delta State during peace missions and also honouring them with national awards of OON and MON respectively.

“On behalf of my family, Elders of Obi Eziokwu palace, and Igbo community in Ghana, I wish the President long live and prosperity in good health,” he prayed.
