Fashion Saviour’s CEO, Awosola relishes successes, hints at fashion academy

The Chief Executive Officer of Fashion Saviour and Shoeculture Nigeria, Olanike Awosola has hinted at plans to open a word class fashion school in the nearest future as part of giving back to the society.

The fashion entrepreneur disclosed this to journalists in Lagos,recently, adding that the move also aim to empower aspiring fashion designers and vendors.

Awodola who has been around the Nigerian fashion industry for more than four years identified great prospects in the industry, however expressed challenge with sourcing quality fabric with local manufacturers.


She reiterated the importance of quality and class to remain relevant and drive growth in the local sector.

According to Awosola, her stance on quality , yet affordable output has not only sustained her in business but positioned as one of the sought -after fashion players in the country and beyond.

She said, “Fashion Saviour came on stream to help Nigerian women make right choice, get best quality accessories and make them easily accessible and affordable. We are able to provide the latest fashionable wears and accessories for office/official and unofficial events. Style refers to manner of expression. Fashion refers to clothings and accessories for adornments.”

Awosola who has paid her dues in the booming industry insisted that challenges in the industry must be curtailed to enable breaking of new grounds.

“Finding a reliable manufacturers who can maintain quality, produce on time and offer reasonable price are some of the areas needing the authority’s intervention. Moreover, customer behaviour, inflation, researching competitors’ prices to determine a profitable price range, and high tariffs are bottlenecks on our path”, she informed.

Notwithstanding the drawbacks, the trendsetter gushed about her achievements in impacting women’s look positively.

Awosola’ within a short period of penetrating Nigeria’s fashion space has proven her mettle in the game which has continued to boost her profile and increase her clientele in a highly competitive market.
