As remote work cements its place in the global economy, a new platform called ‘Peepuu’ has been launched to revolutionise how African professionals especially Nigerians access international job opportunities and career growth.
Peepuu is not just another job board. It is a human-first, tech-powered career acceleration platform built to bridge the gap between Africa’s skilled talent and the global market.
According to its founder, Mrs. Oluwadamilola Fayanjuola, the platform aims to restore career confidence, boost earnings, and help Nigerian professionals thrive on a global stage.
“The mismatch between talent and opportunity continues to stifle both national productivity and individual potential. Peepuu is stepping into this gap, not just as a job platform, but as an ecosystem,” Fayanjuola said in a statement.
At its core, she noted that Peepuu integrates smart job-matching algorithms, career coaching, upskilling programs, and mentorship opportunities all tailored to support long-term career growth. “It also includes tools for handling contracts, payments, and performance tracking to ease the logistics of working remotely with international clients and companies.”
“What we are building with Peepuu is a movement. We’re rebuilding the professional confidence of a generation that’s been told they’re not enough. We’re using technology, community, and strategic access to help Nigerian professionals show up where it matters globally,” Fayanjuola emphasised.
Nigeria, despite producing a high number of skilled graduates yearly, continues to face one of the highest youth unemployment and underemployment rates in Africa. Peepuu aims to tackle this issue head-on with a data-informed, user-first approach.
“Thousands of qualified professionals across Nigeria are either unemployed or earning far below their capabilities. Peepuu wants to change this by helping Nigerians position themselves on a global stage,” Fayanjuola noted.
Designed with the unique challenges of African professionals in mind such as limited job visibility, skill gaps, and infrastructure issues Peepuu’s platform architecture is built for inclusivity and scale.
“At Peepuu, we believe global opportunities shouldn’t be reserved for the few with foreign passports or elite networks. We are building a new economy of competitive, visible, and connected African professionals,” she added.
