The Nigeria’s travel-based lottery and empowerment platform was officially launched in grand style in Lekki area of Lagos State, drawing excitement from media personalities, influencers, and members of the public.

The event’s energy was amplified by the presence of popular influencers and content creators who lent their voices to this movement.

The actors expressed their excitement about the platform’s potential to impact lives and encouraged Nigerians to participate in the initiative.

CEO, World Mega Travel, Chioma Obinna Nkeiruka-Ani, said: “We kicked off this because of the vision we have for Africa, especially Nigerians. We found out that a lot of people want to travel but they do not have the means. We want to prove that traveling and exploring other parts of the world is not only for the rich.

“We have many games and different prices to be won. We have the international trip, household appliances and foodstuff.

“We pick a winner for the trip each week and we begin processing after having 20 winners.

On the amount spent on each winner, she said: “We spend N3.2 million on each winner for the trip to Doha, UK costs N5 million while South Africa costs N3.5 million. 19 persons have traveled so far while we are waiting for visas for 18 winners to be approved for the next trip.

Speaking also, one of the winners, Philip Deborah Oluwatobi, said: “I played the game and won. I travelled to Doha, Qatar. It was a nice experience that afforded me the opportunity to visit places and I spent five days there. I was introduced by a friend and I played the game with N5,000 but I never believed I will be one of the winners.

“I was surprised when I got a call that I won and I needed to prepare myself to travel.”

Speaking also, CEO, TLIG Global Media and Project Manager for Mega Travel, Kehinde Olagbenjo, provided a hands-on walkthrough of the platform during the event. He highlighted the simplicity of the process:
“Anyone can sign up on our website and participate by purchasing affordable tickets at N1,000, N3,000, or N5,000. Each ticket is an entry into a weekly draw,” he explained.

“Technology is helping us scale. We’ve gone fully digital to reach more Nigerians, wherever they are. The platform is secure, transparent, and life-changing,” Kehinde added. He also shared insights into the journey of launching Mega Travel and the challenges the team has successfully overcome.
