Prof. Fidelis Oditah
Against the backdrop of myriad of challenges facing Nigeria’s nationhood and leadership, the Federal Government College Warri Old Student Association (FEGOCOWOSA) has tabled nationhood and leadership for discussion at its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The conversation will be led by a foremost lawyer, Prof. Fidelis Odita, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and Queen’s Counsel (QC).

The President of the association, Maureen Akpofure Awobokun, speaking on the topic, said no time would be better than now to focus on leadership and nationhood as Nigeria prepares to choose its leaders amidst national challenges.

“Our dear association is committed to national ideals and ethos. This has principally informed our desire to seek ways to contribute to the progress of our dear nation, which we hope the keynote address and discussion will achieve,” she said.

The AGM, to be hosted by the Lagos chapter of the association, is slated for Saturday, February 26 and has a number of commemorative events lined up around it. The events, which will run from Friday through Sunday at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island include reunion dinner, cricket match, Golf Tee Off at Ikoyi Club, and musical rendition by Dede Mabiaku.
