The Nigerian Film Festivals Association (NFFA), an umbrella association of all film festivals in Nigeria, has tasked the newly appointed Chief Executive Officers of the agencies under the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and Creative Economy to initiate ideas, programmes and policies that will rightfully position the industry.

The association, led by Uche Agbo, noted that the entertainment industry would further boost the nation’s economy when property positioned.

The association, in a statement signed yesterday by its Publicity Secretary, Kate Ezeigbo, thanked President Bola Tinubu for the choices.

According to the statement, this connotes ‘A Renewed Hope’ for the entertainment industry especially Nollywood as round pegs have been placed in round holes.

“As an association, we look forward to seeing a leadership that will rightly position film festivals in our dear country as we look forward to working with you all.”
