A 21-year-old final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA), Olubodun Sanni, has been arrested for the alleged murder of Miss Adekunle Adebisi Ifeoluwa, a 300-level Economics student.
Ondo police commissioner, Abayomi Peter Oladipo, disclosed that she was found dead on February 2nd, 2024, inside her one-room apartment outside the campus, and investigations pointed to the accused of stabbing the victim to death and stealing her iPhone XR.
Abayomi said; “The recovered phone led to further questioning of the suspect who gave details of what happened in his confessional statement,”.
While Sanni is expected to face charges in court at the conclusion of the investigation, the phone brand is currently valued at #250,000 to #300,000.
