Firm empowers 1,000 beneficiaries with remote work program

Fogdev, a leading provider of digital skills training, has successfully concluded its Remote Work Program 1.0, empowering 1,000 beneficiaries with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the remote work landscape.
  The program conducted in batches of 100 beneficiaries, with each batch undergoing five days of intensive training was sponsored by Access Bank aimed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to secure remote work opportunities.
  The training modules covered a range of essential skills, like: CV and Portfolio Writing, Interview Preparation,Digital Tools for Remote Work and Remote Job Search Strategies.
  Director of Fogdev, Ekundayo Ayeni, mentioned that beneficiaries learned how to craft compelling CVs and portfolios that effectively showcase their skills and experience to potential employers.
  He added that the program covered essential digital tools that are crucial for success in remote work environments, such as productivity apps, communication platforms, and project management tools.
  Ayeni commended Access Bank for their unwavering support and sponsorship, enabling the realisation of the initiative.
  “Beneficiaries gained valuable insights into facing job interviews, including mastering common interview questions, projecting confidence, and demonstrating expertise.
  “Beneficiaries were equipped with effective strategies for finding remote work opportunities, including accessing online job boards, utilizing professional networking platforms, and leveraging social media for job hunting,” he said.
  In addition to the training, beneficiaries were granted access to a curated list of 1,000 websites where they could apply for remote jobs globally. This resource provided them with a wealth of opportunities to connect with potential employers and explore remote work options.
  The Remote Work Program 1.0 received positive feedback from beneficiaries, who commended the comprehensive training, experienced instructors, and the practical skills they acquired. Many expressed confidence in their ability to secure remote work opportunities and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the program.
