Firm launches “Back to School & University” loan to ease education expenses in Nigeria

Financial platform, AfriCred has announced the launch of its “Back to School & University” product, offering loans of up to 10 million Naira to students and parents seeking financial assistance for educational expenses.

This initiative comes amidst rising educational costs in Nigeria, where many families struggle to afford quality education.

“Back to School & University”, however, aims to bridge this gap by providing accessible financial solutions.

This initiative builds upon AfriCred’s existing global education financing programme, which has already approved over $700,000 USD for students at top universities worldwide since January 2024.

Responding to the increasing financial challenges families face in affording quality education, AfriCred’s CEO, Siddharth Maheshwari, said the organisation understands the great role education plays in the society.

“We understand the pivotal role that education plays in transforming lives and driving progress,” Maheshwari stated.

“With the introduction of ‘Back to School & University,’ we are reaffirming our commitment to empowering individuals to pursue their academic aspirations without financial constraints.

“We are excited to extend the facility to students looking to study in Nigeria, having pioneered global education financing with approvals of more than $700K USD since January 2024 for top-ranked global universities.”

The launch of “Back to School & University” reinforces AfriCred’s mission of promoting educational access and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

By offering flexible and affordable financing solutions, www.africred.org strives to make quality education more inclusive for all segments of Nigerian society.
