Bloomfield LP’s 17th anniversary yacht race.

Commercial and dispute resolution law firm based in Nigeria, Bloomfield LP, has announced its 17th-anniversary celebration with an exhilarating sailing race on February 17, 2024, at the prestigious Lagos Yacht Club.

In celebration of nearly two decades of unwavering commitment to legal excellence, the third edition of the sailing race promises to be a thrilling event, symbolising the firm’s journey through the dynamic seas of the legal landscape.

According to the organisers, Bloomfield LP clients, partners, selected HNIs and members of the Lagos Yacht Club would join in the festivities at Marina Lagos. Participants will be grouped into three yacht classes: Mixed Monohull, Lightning, and Hobie Cat. The top three finishers in each category will receive exciting prizes.

Remarking on the forthcoming event, Partner at Bloomfield LP, Adedoyin Afun, said the yacht race would serve as an opportunity to celebrate the firm’s achievements, promote the dying culture of sailing, express gratitude to its valued clients and partners, and foster a spirit of friendly competition and camaraderie among attendees.

He said: “We are delighted to mark this significant milestone in our journey. The sailing race embodies the spirit of collaboration and resilience, which has been at the core of our success over the past 17 years.

“The event will feature various activities, including trivia contests, awards presentations, and engaging games, ensuring an afternoon of exhilarating competition, networking opportunities, and delightful celebrations, would commence with a ceremonial flag hosting, followed by the exciting sailing race along the Lagos waterways.”
