FOLLY Coker, the popular Lagos socialite and close ally of former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, turned 50 on Monday, July 27 but he only marked it in a low-key manner with some few friends around. However, there are indications that Folly may later put together a party to celebrate his golden age.
In the social and government circles in Lagos State and beyond, Folly Coker is a household name. Of an enviable pedigree, his father and Lagos high chief, Folarin Coker a.k.a Baba Eto of Lagos is a longstanding socialite of no mean repute.
The estranged husband of leading designer, Folake Coker, nee Akindele, of the Tiffany Amber fame seems to have slowed down on his activities on the social scene. Folly who plies his trade with the Lagos State Government where he is a high ranking official is less active on the party scene, at least since he hosted his father’s 90th birthday in 2013.
