Foundation launches relief support for Ogun indigents

A charitable organisation, Daramola Dynasty Foundation, founded by Olanrewaju Daramola has launched a relief drive aimed at supporting vulnerable communities during Ramadan and Lent.

The initiative, which is in collaboration with Muslims and Christians, sought to provide essential aid and alleviate the hardships faced by those in need.

The relief focuses on providing essential food supplies to individuals in the Isara community, Ogun State.

About 800 people have benefited from the initiative.

The initiative aimed to ensure that both Muslim and Christian families and individuals have access to nutritious meals and necessary resources throughout the fasting period.

By addressing these needs, the foundation said it hopes to alleviate the burden on vulnerable populations and foster a sense of community, unity and support.

Speaking of the gesture, Daramola Saudi said: “We are delighted about this initiative. It is our duty to serve those in need and bring hope to them during this time.”

“Daramola is passionate about making a positive impact in the community. He is a philanthropist at heart and this has fueled his commitment to a series of initiatives for communities in Nigeria starting with some areas in Ogun State.”

Speaking also, member of the local planning committee, Olasunkanmi Ijadunoye expressed appreciation for the programme, which he said will make a difference in the community.

“The Daramola Dynasty Foundation’s Ramadan Relief Drive has successfully provided essential aid and support to vulnerable communities in Isara during Ramadan.

“By distributing food supplies to both Muslims and Christians, the foundation has alleviated hardships and fostered unity within the community,” he said.
