Games Night Xtra thrill viewers as winners emerge

It began with a need to entertain millions of households nationwide, have fun and stir a little bit of drama.

In October, Smoov Chapman in partnership with Popcentral had a big IDEA, and called it , Games Night Xtra. A game show that played home to 16 influencers, their super fans, & 40 of the most goofy challenges television has ever seen.

For 8 weeks the show broadcasted every Sundays at 8pm west African time, and a repeat broadcast on Popcentral, DSTV 189.

Every week, 4 influencers each tagged with a superfan would compete through a series of tournament style challenges, each win placing them a step closer to the grand prize 3million naira, “quite a lot? That’s what I murmured too,” well, on the contrary, add 300,000 for winning each episode & goody bags from Smoov chapman to the cart.

In its debut week Game night xtra reported a mileage of 1,691,136 impressions on digital media & close to 4 million on television. Its recurring episodes currently reported a cumulative reach of 9.1million digital & terrestrial alike.

While a large quota of the show’s success was accredited to the love & support from its audiences, Smoov Chapman in collaboration with Popcentral provided its nationwide audience with plausible edge of the seat entertainment, offering fans & viewers a curated variety of games they can immediately relate with.

Until now, the teams are smaller, the band louder, the cocktails are even yummier, And decorated winners of Game night xtra’s Season one’s Grand finale Gabbie & Olly, smiling their way to the bank to redeem 3 million naira cash prize courtesy of Smoov chapman.
