The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has appointed Iyadunni Gbadebo, the Director of Sales and Marketing for Eko Hotels and Suites, as a member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) for the Lagos Tourism Foundation.

The move, the chamber said is aimed at bolstering the development and promotion of tourism in Lagos State.

In a letter to the appointee, the Director-General of LCCI, Dr Chinyere Almona, expressed confidence in Gbadebo’s ability to fulfill her new role with excellence.

She said that the board plays a pivotal role in guiding the activities of the foundation, ensuring it aligns with the board’s objectives and maximises impact on the tourism sector.

“Your leadership and commitment to advancing tourism in Lagos will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the success of both the foundation and the chamber,” she said.

The Guardian gathered that her extensive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry positions her as an asset in driving the foundation’s initiatives forward.
