In a significant boost to his campaign, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency by-election, Mr. Ifeoluwa Ehindero, has received the endorsement of prominent party figure and former aspirant, Tunde Giwa-Daramola, popularly known as Commander.

This declaration of support came during a media parley held on Wednesday in Lagos, where Giwa-Daramola threw his weight behind Ehindero’s candidacy.

Ehindero is vying to fill the vacant seat left by Honourable Bunmi Ojo, who resigned his position upon his appointment as Minister of Interior by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Commending Ehindero’s qualifications, Giwa-Daramola described him as “a man of vision, mission, and goals.” He elaborated on Ehindero’s leadership qualities, stating that “he has earned the respect and love of his people through his unwavering commitment, philanthropic spirit, and leadership style.”

“He is a household name throughout Akoko, and arguably across Ondo State as a whole,” Giwa-Daramola continued. “His past contributions to the youth, party leaders, and members make him the ideal candidate for this position.”

This endorsement by Giwa-Daramola, a well-respected figure within the Ondo APC, is a significant development for Ehindero’s campaign. It highlights the growing momentum behind his candidacy and underscores his perceived potential to represent the constituency effectively.
